Sunday evening, throughout the year, is the time for the liveliest traditional session on the Lake. This is Irish music at its absolute best and features a core group of extremely talented musicians who are joined by a few 'roving' players who just happen upon the session and in the true tradition of the 'Seisiuin' lend their talents to the evening.

If you are in the area at the end of August, try not to miss the Terryglass Arts Festival which is now in its fifth year. This is a family based festival and features lots of entertainment, whether you are aged 4 or 94. http://www.tipperarynorth.ie/news.htm

The Derg Inn is the place to be on the October Bank Holiday. This is when we go overboard on our decorations for Halloween. The pub becomes a spooky, spider laden cavern in readiness for our annual Fancy Dress on the Sunday night. Definitely one of the best nights of the year!

Christmas and New Year are really special in Terryglass and especially so in The Derg Inn with our magic decorations, our wonderful winter menu, mulled wines, crackling fires.
